Our comprehensive accounting services include the entire accounting cycle for a property manager. We can serve as your controller or your entire accounting department, or we can simply perform specific processes you prefer to hand over to a third party, such as accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, move-in/move-out accounting and many more. Additionally, we provide specialized services such as commercial recoveries, trust accounting, and the preparation of accurate financial statements.
THE EFG PROCESS

Discovery

Discovery: EFG will assist you in gathering as much information as possible so that we understand your business, your portfolio and your current accounting cycle and process.

Scope of Work: Once we have enough information, we will scope the monthly resources and time required to provide you with the accounting processes you would like us to perform. We will present to you a monthly service proposal that establishes a monthly allotment of hours required to complete your monthly accounting cycle.

Engagement

Kick-Off Meeting: Upon execution of our master services agreement and accounting services contract, EFG’s director of accounting will coordinate a kick-off meeting with you to introduce you to your assigned accountants. Together we will discuss the process and our ticketing system, how we will gather needed information necessary to provide you services, and establish deadlines and schedule weekly calls.

Hand-Off

Services Commence: Whether EFG will serve as your entire accounting department and controller, or simply handle specific processes selected by you, as of the effective date of services you can confidently hand over those selected processes you wish to outsource to EFG.

Best Practices: In the first month of service your assigned accountants will work with you to update settings and set up processes and workflows in your property management software platform. We will configure your database so that we can use industry best practices in the accounting services we provide.

Dynamic Relationship: As we work together on an ongoing basis, we will continue to adapt as your business fluctuates and grows. We can adjust the monthly hours as needed, and we will meet regularly to ensure we are completing work to your satisfaction. As time goes on, there will be opportunities to explore new methods and find new ways EFG can assist you.
